Samsing 22 inch TV Mar 04, 2010 Excellent quality for the price.Sound could be a bit better, but it is not too bad.
I've not had any problems Mar 01, 2010 I've had this TV for a month now. I've not had any problems with it. Sound it good, picture is good.
Very good HDTV for modest price Feb 27, 2010 Have had this HDTV for several weeks and am using it in our kitchen. We have a pretty small cabinet space for the TV, so I needed to purchase one this small. That said, it is probably just a bit small for kitchen use (we have a combined kitchen and dining space, so not infrequently we are 20 feet from the screen.
I am happy with the TV, but will still be looking for another bigger one with dimensions that would still fit our cabinet.
What I can tell you is that the picture is very good, but has the limitations of all LCD TVs--if you are viewing at an angle the picture deteriorates. This is not a fault of the brand, just a fact of life for these very inexpensive LCDs. We use it connected straight to our cable provider (no cable box) and it works perfectly.
The TV was easy to set up and has operated flawlessly.
My biggest criticism is the audio quality, it is pretty bad. We have in fact added some inexpensive desktop computer speakers (using the included earphone port) and this has greatly improved the sound. This tells you something because these computer speakers aren't great themselves. I suppose the problem is the TV is just so small that they can't build in decent speakers.
I took off one star due the the poor audio. Otherwise, this is a very nice TV for very little cost.
Good TV for kitchen, etc. Feb 21, 2010 Decent TV, good price. Picture with HD is very nice, Standard def picture is not too bad. Sound is perfectly fine, as long as you are not trying to drown anything out with the TV's speakers.
samsung rocks Feb 18, 2010 I needed a 23 inch tv to go beside the 23 inch monitor used with my desktop computer.
Out of all the tvs we own (a lot) samsungs have been the ones we are most pleased with.
As my kids say - it was a no-brainer

Consumer Reports Says: Buy HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
